Our Founders
The foundation of the Saptarishi School is a first step towards fulfilling a cherished lifelong dream, which allows Manpreet to make a positive impact on the educational landscape in the city. He seeks to facilitate a holistic schooling experience for the children in his hometown, equipping them with the skill-sets needed to succeed in the 21st century world. With a unique pedagogy and a world-class infrastructure, Manpreet aims at building an educational ecosystem which is at par with the best schools in the country.
Hailing from Damoh, Manpreet previously worked in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India as a Consultant, Policy Planning and Research Division for more than 3 years. He has also worked as a Research Associate at the National Maritime Foundation, an Indian Navy think-tank. He finished schooling from The Daly College, Indore, before moving to Delhi for his higher education. After his undergrad in an interdisciplinary liberal arts degree from the St. Stephen’s College, he subsequently moved on to complete his Master’s and M. Phil. in International Relations (IR) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He is currently pursuing his PhD in China’s Maritime Diplomacy in Southeast Asia from JNU. He has been awarded a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by the UGC in International Relations and has qualified NET in Political Science and Defence and Strategic Studies in higher education.
